The way it works from an end-user standpoint: dial a shortcode, make a recording, then it automatically forwards said recording into a bunch of mailboxes that has voicemail to email set up, so that people can retrieve it from their mobile devices.
How it works from a programming standpoint:
Create a MODULE in VoicemailPro. Create an "Edit Play List", and under the specific tab, designate a WAV file that the end-users are to record. Create a GENERIC action. Under the specific tab, put in the FWD:xxx, yyy, zzz in order to forward the recording to mailboxes. Connect the 3 actions to each other (including Start Point).
In the Manager software, create a shortcode that points to the module that we create (you can use the example I gave earlier).
Do that 2 more times, and you have 3 menus which people can use.
You hit the nail right on the head. I am confused though do I need to create different modules then? Since each shortcode will be calling out to different people.
Ok got all 3 modules setup with each their own name and a edit play list action and generic action. I also changed each short code under telephone number to have the name of their own module that is in vmpro. For some reason when I dial any of the shortcodes it goes to MY voicemail saying my greeting. Not sure what is going on now.......
OK i got it working with the modules but it shouldn't have the same message I recorded on one of them (before setting up the modules) on all of them should it?
