HI

We have installed an XT5000 SMB for the IPO
The XT 5000 shows licenses active. Software 8.3.x
it is registered to the IPO as a SIP extension, can receive and make voice calls. Software 9.1.x

We have installed the desktop server on a dedicated server non VM Windows 10.
Disabled firewall etc.

able to connect to it from another computer and download app to connect to a meeting

we get an error though when trying to connect to a meeting.
"Sorry you cannot connect to the specified meeting(Scopia MCU failed the call)"

Any thoughts?

i haven't been using one as it is the embedded which only allows one to go.

it doesn't appear to require one?

i go to the URL and enter my name then click join.
i have tried utilizing the pin option as well, the system reconizes the pin but still gives the same error.

Are you using an FQDN for internal and external?
It must be an FQDN and not an IP address or you will get this type of error.

HI,

We have set up the FQDN and still get the same response.

i notice in the below trace that the desktop server is trying to talk to the XT endpoint using H323 yet the endpoint is configured to the IPO as a SIP endpoint you can see after an H323 entry the call is rejected?
Any thoughts on that ?

after posting i realized that we use H.323 between the XT and server.

still Looks like the MCU isn't accepting connections.

checked all software and it is IPO editions?

You need 1 external IP for xt5000 on LAN1
You need 1 internal address for xt5000 on lan2 which is connected and registered to the ipo

You need 1 external address for xt desktop and MCU address above also needs put in here you should then have 2 green lights

When you have done the above it will work then add FQDN when you have proved all routes ok

Update:
We installed XT Desktop to new Win7 on VM. After configuring parameters it worked. It seems my problem was Window related.
