I currently have three IP Office systems.
1) IP412 licenses: eBLF, Integrated Messaging, Phone Manager Pro, SoftConsole, Voicemail Pro
2) IP406 licenses: SoftConsole, Voicemail Pro
3) IP403 licenses: none

I've had an SCN from the IP406 to the IP412 for about ten years. I recently added the IP403 to a new location and configured it very similar to the IP406. I have a IPSec tunnel from the 403 to the 412 with all traffic allowed. So far, I can't get the SCN to start working. I figure it has to be a licensing issue. Maybe I need Voicemail Pro?

Can someone tell me what licenses I would need for the IP403 to get SCN working?

Thanks for the help!!

IP400 series did not need a licence for SCN

if you cant get the system to connect & you have checked your programming then it is almost certainly an issue on the data network

No , networking licence not req
VCM is req though , a missing VCM could be the cause of the problem

Thank you SOOOO much for the helpful replies. This is such a great forum!
Is there a simple way to check if there is a VCM in the IP403 without taking off the cover?

Thank you guys so much for the help. Per Monitor, it looks like there is no VCM installed. VCOMP=0
I will get one ordered today.

eBay.
These units are ancient, they really need to be replaced with uptodate systems.

Indeed, they have an ethernet hub in them, that's how old they are :)

as a followup to this thread. I did get the VCM and installed it. The SCN is working as expected now.
Thank you all for the help!
