I already am setup so i can dial into get messages remotely but I would like to be able to dial in and run short codes like to set a huntgroup into night service and a number of there things. HELP!!!!!!!!!

What release are you running? the first suggestion I made can also be made to work with older VM 4.1 etc...wth a little more work :) Are there no spare numbers at all in the sysytem that don't clash with extn or local dialling?

I am good on spare numbers. I am not on 5 Yet. Amriddle i guess i did not totally get your idea

Say you had numbers beginning 7 that would not match any other extn or local number you could use
shortcode 7xxx
Feature set HG night service
Tel number N

then transfer from VM to 7$key
the $key being set from a menu you create with a custom touch tone :) You follow?

nothing it goes dead air no beeps like the form a handset on system and it disconnects my call

Create a Menu two options 6 and 7 > connect it to another menu add the ??? > transfer it to 6$KEY and the other transfer to 7$KEY

Can't you go to R5? Then you can just use my Pic above and you're set :)

Neither works i did Start>menu with 1 2 > menus with $> transfers with 6$KEY and 7$KEY and all i get is dead air and it hangs up and the HG is still normall not in night service

You need 3 menu's

Menu1: option 6 and 7 (ticked)
Menu2: $ (Add it by pressing the + and tick it)
Menu3: $ (Add it by pressing the + and tick it)
Transfer1: 6$KEY
Transfer2: 7$KEY

Now Connect:

Menu1 option 6 > Menu2 > Tranfser1
Menu1 option 7 > Menu3 > Tranfser2

Try to add a "Generic" between the Menu2 and Transfer1 enter $CP0

And add "Generic" between the Menu3 and Transfer2 enter $CP1

Just like the picture Andy posted.
