Recommendations on Fax Service

Anyone have any tips on howto get reliable faxing working thru IP500. We have a VOIP T1 from Megapath, where they provide use a PRI for voice then 4 analog ports for fax.

Even with the ports being analog, we still have problems with older credit card machines, postage machines, and certain fax machines.

This is a doctor office so they fax a enormous amount of info. Is there any good IP fax services out there or anyone ever try getting a SIP trunk directly from IPO to a provider working for Fax. I assume if the trunk provider supports T.38 should work ok...

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. I'm getting ready to upgrade to that latest 5.x and going to hold off on the 6.0 upgrade till the first MR comes out unless we move forward with the sip trunk option since it seems 6.0 has SIP trunks figured out.

If you want reliable faxing get a true T1 ISDN connection, VOIP T1's have a history of bringing problems here to these forums, Fax hates IP regardless of system
