Hi everyone.

Trying to get some direction on getting my only analog line to work on a IP 500 V2 system.

Using a Combo ATM V2 card along with 9508's...2 lines coming in connected at 9/10 ports.

I have checked internal wall wiring, bypassed the internal wiring and tried a single piece of Cat 5 directly from control unit to Polycom....no dial tone. Tried regular phone line...no dial tone.

My only guess now is its something in the configuration or the way my incoming lines are connected? ? Everything else works like a charm.

Any help or direction would be most appreciated!

Amriddle, would it do any good for someone to look at the cfg file I saved out of the program?

Also would it be odd for just the the 7/8 ports to be bad on the Combo card, and all the other ports be OK? That seems strange, although its possible it happened.

I've noticed on several software versions that if there is not a user associated with a analog extension and the analog extension has no telephone number then you don't get dial tone when connecting a phone.
So check in config if there is a user configured with the same phonenumber as the phonenumber of the analog extension.
In SSA under Extensions it will show as <card number>-<port number> or under system>Combocard>Slot 7 or 8 it will show no phonenumber and the associated user is NoUser.
