proper form question 5

I am writing a grant proposal for funding to continue my education. The grant year is July 2006 - June 2007. This time period covers the school period August - Dec 2006 (fall semester), Jan 2007 - July 2007 (spring and summer semesters).

Which of the following sentences would you say is correct:

A.
During the grant year I will complete the final twelve core course hours in the Fall 2006 and Spring 2007 semesters.

B.
During the grant year I will complete the final twelve core course hours in the fall 2006 and spring 2007 semesters.

That is one long semester.

I can't ever keep that Daylight-Savings-Time (British-Summer-Time) thing straight because I constantly "Spring Back" and I "Fall Forward". Maybe it would be easier to keep things straight if I learn to "Vern Forward" and "Autumn Back".
