printing trouble

Can a pc in a domain print to a printer that's shared in a workgroup. The printer has an ip address.

I tried setting up the printer with the ip and I can't print to it?

Both pc's are win 2k professional.

Suggestions?

You may also need to be a part of the workgroup or be give permission to print to the printer.

You can connect to that printer through TCP/IP port and print without any problem, go Add Printer /Local/ Create New port /standard TCP/IP Port and ...
