Hello,

If I am upgrading Prairiefyre from 5.8 to latest 6.0 (6.0.3.0), do I have to upgrade 5.8 to 6.0.0.0 first and then to 6.0.3.0?

In the 6.0.3.0 release notes, it says "Contact Center Solutions and Call Accounting Version 6.0.3.0 must be installed on top of any previous Version 6.0.x.x release. This release contains defect fixes and features that are available only with Version 6.0.3.0."

Thanks

I believe so , What version of 5.8 do you have ? I seem to remember something about taking it to 5.8 FP9 first but that may have been before migrating it to 7.

- Don't forget that's the last 32 bit OS version there is , next step( 7) will involve a new server OS

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

We are running 6.0.3.0 now and are upgrading to 7.1.0.1 I believe ( latest release ) . I had thought someone told us there was another 6.0 release above 6.0.3.0 ..
I may be wrong but a TON of fixes in 7.1 which we are upgrading to this weekend . We also have SalesForce and Oaisys call recording as well .

Pretty sure that this is the highest( and last ) version 6

CCM.6030.20140314.Upgrade

this is the latest ver 7

CCM.7101.20141017.Upgrade.exe

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

How do I upgrade from 5.8.0.9 to 6.0.0.0 when there is no upgrade path to 6.0.0.0? Unless if I do a FULL install of 6.0.0.0

Is it possible to go directly from 5.8.0.9 to 6.0.3.0?

Thanks

Just did a 6 to 7 upgrade, and the files on Mitel wouldn't upgrade 6.0.3 needed to be an older version. Since I didn't have any data, had to revert back to 6.0.0, upgrade to 6.1.1 before it would go.

Needless to say, this was filled with bugs in the process. Do they actually test any of this at Mitel?

Couldn't reinstall from the base version 6 on the VM said something about a file was changed. Looked and saw it wasn't even there and had to download the full install.

Yes I got it done, but the process was filled with angst.

Billz66,

Are you saying 5.8 is the last 32 bit OS version for windows?
I think 6.0 can be using 32 bit windows server.

6 is the last 32 bit version for windows
when you go to 7 you need new server OS

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
