TLU - 83 Firmware Upgrade

Mitel Mx-One 6.x version.

I have TLU 83 ROF1376305/1 R2A/A This version has FSK CLIP only,
What is the procedure for flashing the firmware with both DTMF and FSK?

What value you have for VARC D4 of your route?
If you are using TLP11, VARC D4 must have the values:
1 for CLI DTMF
3 for FSK ETSI Standard
5 for FSK BELLCORE Standard
Both FSK and DTMF are not accpted on the same route.

What is the current FW of your TLU83 board?

Verify with the command

board_sw -status -bpos (board position of your TLU83)

I can upload the latest FW and instruction on how to update the board.

Here is the commands to be used to update the board FW

First you have to upload the firmware file CAA1580054_R5A.bin (see attached) to the /tmp directory of LIM 1, use winscp to do it, the file must be transfered as a binary adjust winscp correctly to avoid data corruption.

Once the file is copied, send the commands to update the board.

check what bpos the TLU83 is placed and replace it in the commands.

board_sw -load -bpos xx-x-xx -file /tmp/CAA1580054_R5A.bin

board_sw -activate -bpos xx-x-xx

board_sw -confirm -bpos xx-x-xx
