I pulled the two 380 cards out and also disconnected everything from the processor, then powered up again and I still had a solid red light. Is there anything else I can try?
Thanks, I was able to get the system back up!, but now I can not set the sys. date and time. Every time I type in the date next Data it goes back to 000000, same thing happens with the time. Do you know how I can fix this?
I am using #101 for the date and #102 for day and #103 for time.
Yes, I am programming from Ext. 10. When I got the system back up my menus and exts. and outcalling settings were still programmed. I do not want to loose those settings. I thought that if I did a reset everything would go back to default, which I don't want. Is there another way to set the system date and time?
If the system was working fine at the time the backup was made, you can default the processor as Skip suggested and reload the configuration from that PC card.
Ok, so I should remove battries wait, replace, then program #989(?, did not find this code in my mannual)at ext. 10? Sorry if I'm a little slow to get it. (previous Bell Atlantic tech., have had to learn how to work and program this partner a little at a time)
Remove the batteries and power down the unit. Wait a short while. Power the unit back up and pop the batteries back in. Default the programming as Skip suggested and then restore the programming from the PC card.
Tried the #728 and it did not fix the problem.
The only programing I have done is reinitialize a mailbox and it worked fine. And reprograming would take some time, we have two companies with menus etc... But I'm starting to get convinced that that is my only option.
Is there any thing else to try?
Defaulting the processor won't delete voice mail menu's, mailboxes, ect... That programming is held in the VM. You will have to reprogram the system after default for the VM hunt groups, VM hunt schedule, and so forth.
