Is the service running?
What does monitor show?
Be sure you set a filter for PC voicemail.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

The service is definitely Running.

what do you mean by set a filter for PC voicemail?

Open monitor, connect to the ipo and select filters.
Go to the tab "call" and select PC voicemail (bottom most right option)

Also use "debug view" on the voicemail server.
Be sure that the network card is working and has the right IPadres (must be static)
When it is on DHCP and in the IPO configured static then it goes wrong big time.

I double checked all of that. I cant figure out what the issue is, and I do not want to buy a new PC for no reason.

Perhaps a firewall has kicked in, make sure that and any AV is off :)

You say that PC is directly connected to IP Office? Can you ping the IP Office from VM PC?

Other thing you can check... What account is the VM services running under? Has anything changed with the account on PC since VM was installed on it?

No firewall, and no Anti-virus Software.

I can ping the IP Office

The only thing that I changed before I shut down this computer was the password to log-in as Admin. I didn't know the pass previously, so I changed it to protect myself. Could this have caused an issue?

Go into the VM pro service and under the account change the password to what you changed the PC password to.... See if that works

Yes it does.

I'm not seeing where I should go in and change the password.
My apologies

In the Run box on the server/PC type services.msc or navigate to services from the control panel, find the VM Pro service(s) double click it/them and find the login details and change the password to match the new one :)

Oh, yeah It was set at Local System Account.

I got seriously excited there lol.

What is the IP address of the VM server, What is it set to in Manager?
Is the sever set to aquire a DHCP address?

ACSS - SME
ACA - Implement IP Telephony

The IP address of the VM server is 192.168.1.201 and its sets to the same thing in manager.

DHCP is set to disabled.

I'm thinking of remormating this PC and reinstalling the software, and uploading my Files. I dont have any other ideas.

What is the address of the system? If it's in a different range does it have an IP route to send the traffic to the correct interface even though it's directly connected :)

The IP of the System (IPO) is 192.168.1.200.

I dont know what settings could be off, or wrong. Like I said in my original post, a technician plugged into our system using his laptop, uploaded my files and everything worked.

I'm baffled as to what the problem could be. I connected directly to my router and got Internet on the VM server so it cant be the NIC card.

Remove vmpro (take a backup first) and do a reinstall of vmpro.

Just to narrow the issue down quickly load VM onto a laptop or a spare pc and connect that directly and see if that works, make sure AV, firewall etc is off, that could prove if it's the system acting up or the original PC :)

Is this something really silly? Like a faulty cable?

Does the server show that the link is up?
Can it ping?

Is this an IP403 and the uplink switch is set wrong?

Is it an IP406 and the port 8 is in a different VLAN

Is it an IP 500 and the server is in the WAN port?

Take Care

Matt
I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.
