Is 'Doing Nothing' an oxymoron?"

The original context for this question is that I have been asked what I'd like to do tonight and replied, "I've been so busy lately, I'd like to do nothing".

Can I actively do nothing? I would appreciate some feedback on this. If, in thinking around the subject, you find some other amusing/infuriating oxymorons, please share them!!!

(Also, I just think the word is great - OXYMORON!! )

You can do nothing, because to do nothing is something, nothing is a thing in which you can feasibly do. Nothing is a term for something in which you are doing but do not want or need to disclose with others. When i am doing nothing i am always doing something ie sitting ie thinking ie sleeping ie watching tv, but when someone pops in the question "what are you doing?" the response "nothing" is just a quick way of stating what you are doing is not of importance, or atleast enough importance to be mentioned. Also the lack of important activity does not imply it is not an activity, is not zero a number though it stands for no tangible value, nothing is in some ways the same.

(thats how i feel, and believe me, my brain is full of "nothing")

nothing important at least!
