I am not sure if it belongs here but seems like it...
I just read it (and keep laughing) when lady complained about her friend acting stupid. Another lady suggesting that "she is one sandwich short from a picnic"

I love these phrases so much and wondering is this amuses me so much because I am ESL? Or it amuses everyone?

You went from being a cougar to a Ute, and you want proof of what?

Good Luck

BTW, in defense of Zoomer, how many other people do you know that can instantaneously mispell "instantaniously" as instantaneously as Zoomer? Perhaps she was going to instantaneously spell "instantaniously" "instantaneously", but wanted to practise the highly important English rule, "'i' before 'e'..." [2thumbsup]

Centurion,

My effect on the schools' GPAs is all the proof anyone needs. (BTW, are you a former 'either'?)

SantaMufasa,

That reminds me of a product we rolled out a few years ago. (To be fair, it was a third party vendor's machine; we just distributed and offered support for it. That third party is now out of business.) It was - how should I put this - challenging from the beginning. A running joke when discussing its performance internally was, "It's never worked better!" Which, of course, was true - it always ran like crap.
