Hi guys,

I have an ext (x6000) set up for On Site notification of 911 calls. And it works when a user calls 911 directly. However, if a user dials 8,911 (we use 8 to access outside lines) the OSN phone does not indicate the 911 call.
Is there a way to have the OSN phone work with both 8,911 and 911 calls?

Thanks!
Rich

Yes depending on the software release you are running. What software do you have?
Thanks

It's a phone system, NOT a clock!

Is 8 your BARS access code or an access code for a route?

Hi KC,

We use the "8" to access outside/external lines, so I think it's a route access code.
How would I check to be sure though?

Thanks.

Hi KC,

Not sure if this (below) is what you were looking for:

Print a DNB 0n 8, if it is AC1 then you can build a DMI table to manipulate the 8911. If 8 is an access code to a route then you cant do this.

HI KC,

Yes you're right. The DMI was the issue. It was using DMI 0 and so I built a new DMI (that did nothing) and pointed the RLI 8 to the new DMI. I turned on LTER and with that it started to work. So now if someone dials either 911 or 8,911 my SOC gets notified on their OSDN phone of the event.

Thanks again!
Rich
