I shutdown octel 200 /w 'shutdown' command and started /w 'startup'. When you call a busy extension instead of calling octel directly, it rings about 4 times and you hear 'enter the extension number you wish to reach or stay on the line for assistance'. It does not call mailbox to hear the greetings and let you leave a message. Any suggestions? Octel is connected to Ericsson MD110 BC12 SP9.

Hi koobro

It seem that your integration is not running.
Did you change any parameters?

Please post from the MD:
ICFUP;, VMFUP;, VMPOP;, ALLOP;,

Please post from the Voice 200:
.l sys 175
.l sys 2

@L H

Or try to restart programs DIM and DIR in the MD110.

///doktor

Your integration between the MD110 and the Voice 200 fails.
This can be seen from the @L H.

Suggestions:
1.
Restart the ICU2 board in 001-1-70-1.
2.
Restart the programs DIM and DIR in the MD110.
3.
Send this command :
ICFUC:IFCIND=0,UPDFCN=NO;
ICUPI;
If you get "Updating is running" restart the DIM/DIR programs.
4.
Send this command :
ICFUC:IFCIND=0,UPDFCN=YES;
5.
Check cabling etc...

///doktor

doktor,

Your suggestions has been checked on the MD side and it is running ok. Still octel not calling mailbox.

Cheers

In the OCTEL (/VOICE 200) make a @C H.
Then make some calls and send this command @L H.
Please post the printout.

Simultaneously do a @MON2 and post the result here.

Check also the cabling...

p.s. Did you change anything.

If everything fails: Do a @RESTA

///doktor

From here it seems to be the cabling, because "0E" is seen in data1 the @L H from the OCTEL.

24 00 00 2 11/29 17:45 1 0000000E 00000000 00000000 00000000

0E means loss of DTR in the serial interface.

Try to make a @C H and post the @L H.

Did you try the @RESTA ?

Did you try the @MON2 ?

///doktor

Doktor,

here you are and yes i tried resta and mon2.

I would lower the data speed from 9600 to 1200 bps.
This is done by ICFUC:IFCIND=3,RATE=1200;
In the OCTEL it is the sys par 271.

Then also:
Post sys par 117, 33, 9 13, 16...

///doktor

The reason for decreasing the bit rate is that if you are using the old ICU board, the recommended bitrate is 1200.

///doktor

doktor,

how can i reset the rs-232 on octel.

a command to reset rs-232 port(J2)on octel if it is possible. i presume it may be hanged.
