Hello fellow tek-tippers!

I hope you're all having a wonderful day. Hopefully this is a quick answer from anyone UK based who's dealt with ISDN2.

We've got 4x ISDN2 channels on an NS700, got the mobile twinning all working (happy days) but is sending the main CLI of the i2 (understandably).

All settings on the NS700 to send original caller ID are enabled, but it's not working. This is going to be due to a service missing off the ISDN2 (right?).

Now, with the IP500, putting Call Diversion on the ISDN2 and supporting partial re-routing through the system worked, but will it work for the NS700?

Presentation Number 3,4,5 on ISDN30 would do it, but we're stuck on i2 in this instance and I don't believe they've added beefier number presentation options to BRI..

If anyone could please throw some advise at me, I would be very appreciative!

In Ireland isdn 2 A number sending is normal on. Have you put the number in clip under extension. The number in there is normally the full number with the 0 dropped but can vary so try stripping it down to 3 digits and see if it works

Clip should be set to extension in the options beside clip

Hi obtsystems,

Thanks for the response :)

When the call is twinned to the mobile, it's showing the office ISDN2 number without any issue. There's no DDIs which I'm trying to present, otherwise the CLIP option would be fine.

I'm trying to get it to pass through the original caller ID to the twinned call; this is where I believe there's something that needs to be activated on the ISDN2 side rather than the system.

It may be that what I want is not possible with ISDN2 and the NS700, but thought I would exhaust all avenues.

I am not sure what you mean by twin. Are they being set as same extension number using wireless xdp /shared extension

My apologies; I mean twinning in the sense of when the deskphone extension rings, a call also goes out to an outside line (a mobile in this case)

There's essentially a dummy SIP extension which forwards the call to the mobile whilst remaining ringing on the office extension; I just need to know how I can send the original caller ID to the mobile. At the moment it just shows the office number.

Ok, sorry That is different. By default the system is set to send callers id to the other side but unfortunately a lot of line providers don’t support this. We have it working with sip providers only In Ireland

Yea, I thought as much. With SIP there's no issue at all, just bloody ISDN! Thanks anyway :)
