NS700 group MSG wait light

Morning All
I have a NS700 and set up an overflow ffrom an ICD gp 601 to voicemail
I have the msg wait light appearing as a message light on 4 x IP keyphones and 1 x digital keyphone
The issue is that I cant get the MSG wait light to go out , It is continually lit on all 5 phones
I press the button and I get the 2 soft buttons Clear and exit come up
Nothing happens when clear is pressed and the exit button works as it should
I can leave a new message in the mailbox and go in and clear it via the button, but light stays on
I have tried manually turning message button off and on
Call back feature works I can turn light on(which it already is) and be called back by pressing the message button

Bit weird , but maybe someone has struck this before

If you pickup the handset and press the message key what happens. Look at the screen and see what comes up
 
Sorry I meant to say if you leeve the handset down what comes up on the screen
 
Try dialing *700 and then the ICD group extension number.
 
Are you using the message light on the top of the phone (thus using group mailbox in the NS), or are you using a MSG-Wait DSS button?

Screen goes blank (as if it is responding to call the destination, but nothing on screen

I have tried that, still nothing , I have also manually turned light on ( even though it already is) and manually tried to cancel(message says light is off , but it is still on)

I am using a Msg wait DSS button for the group and I have it appearing on 5 Keyphones
 
Removing the DSS button from all the phones and then re-program?
 
Thats strange. Have not seen that before
Your button is progrannsd as messsage waiting -6xx

Have you tried a different message waiting on a different number to see if it is happening to all message lamps
 
I will try Merbacs' suggestion, I have tried deleting buttons on individual phones, and swapping for another msg wait 6XX but the light comes back on when I program it back to 601, it only seems to be effecting 601
 
Press msg button while on-hook, follow by the up/down navigation key to scroll to see is there any other msg e.g callback msg. Press *700+extension number or press msg button follow by transfer button to clear msg light.
