Go into voice mail administration AA / Lines and tell that target line not to answer.

Maybe go to KSU programming Lines / Prime set = The DN it is assigned too
Also if you make a line Private it wipes out any programming associated with that line (which maybe causing the issue) then change it back to public and re-enter any programming under that line.
Check Service Mode Ring Groups and remove 168 from any groups.
Be careful if using Callpilot, go to Fax DN and make it none or the DN of the ATA

Sounds like you might not be getting the correct digits for your DID. Call in again and dial an extension from AA. Answer the call from that extension and see what line the call is on odds are it's not line 168.
Yes and when it comes in on the intercom go ahead and answer and in the dispaly you should be able to veiww the caller id and the line information. Have you tried this with anothewr target line?
You mean every target is answered by AA right away?

I dont think you answered my suggestion here:
Check Service Mode Ring Groups and remove 168 from any groups.
-In this case now make sure NO lines are programmed in Service Modes /Ringing Service/Sched:Night/Line Settings.
Check Sched:Evening Lunch etc
-H251 is probably a Hunt Group DN
Go into Hunt Groups and see what members and lines are assigned in the first few Hunt Groups.
-Again double check Prime Sets
Lines/001 is all you need to check for the PRI
The Lines 1 168 and all other target lines
Make sure Target Lines are set to None for now.
-What is the version of the KSU (or SP CODE in Maintenance)
-What is the voice mail version (or press 9 once logged into 983)

Ok curly and hawks, sorry for the back and forth. Been trying to fix this one inbetween service calls.
It was the hunt group line 168 was in group 1. So that fixed the problem of the target number going to that DN.
Now trying to get the system to recognize the ATA2 keeps coming up with unequiped, any suggestions? I have tried it on other ports and does the same thing. Have tried another ATA2 same thing.
