Hi!
I have some problems with one extension.
This number can not dial to some line/code and i thing it is connected to existing this number in attendant group.
It is assign to navar:
DIS-NAVAR:;
H500: AMO NAVAR STARTED
+-----+------+-----------------------------+----+----+--------------------+----+
|NOPT-|TYPE | DEVICES |ATND|NOPT| NOPTNAME | SG |
|NO | | | GR | | | |
+-----+------+-----------------------------+----+----+--------------------+----+
| 1 | NONE| | 0 | 1 | | 1|
| 2 | STN| 5252 | 0 | *2 | | 37|
+-----+------+-----------------------------+----+----+--------------------+----+

I like to delete this, but i have some errors.

F3 : NIGHT OPTION 2 CANNOT BE DELETED, AS IT IS STILL ASSIGNED TO ATND GROUP 0.

How to delete this number from this?

Regards.

The easiest way to do it is to change 5252 to another number and then recreate it.

Hello!
I changed to different number but sttil assigned in "Navar" in new number.
A like to delete it from navar..
This sollution not work..

Hello!
I was change to different number, but still are assign in "Navar" in new number.
I like to delete it this number from navar overall..
This solution not work (change number in scsu)..

It's been a while since I messed with the old consoles, but look at ATNDC I think, or ATNDG. One of them is the console setup I believe and you should be able to remove the night option from there, and after that should be able to do DEL-NOPT or something like that to get rid of the night option assignment for the number.

Hi!
Sorry, but I do not have configured Console, ascu is emtpy.
ATNDC and ATNDG not exist in AMO.
Console configure in ACSU.
Some time ego we delete this console, nobody using this phone, specially when we use automatic distrybution and DID.

In wabe I do not function to disconnect from this night group, mayby this way?

Delete this extension is not possible, remove from night option not possible, this extension works strange.
Any idea?
Regards

Are you in Germany or using a german version of the switch?

I hadn't heard of wabe before HiPath 4000. Some of the AMOs are different in the german version.

I can use DIS-NOPT to look at the night options and DEL-NOPT to delete one - as long as it hasn't been assigned anywhere.

Hi!
No, english version.
Wabe - all codes, extension number, CO line..
There was definded allow and use dialled codes (1-9,* # ..etc)

Hicom 300e I do not remember version of firmware..

No DIS-NOPT avaible...not existing that command.
Regards

In the English version of the switch WABE is DPLN :eek:)

Hi!
DPLN - direction to call CO.
WABE - all codes

VERSION : H203
SERIAL NUMBER: 6
DONGLE HW-ID : 8B73B580
ENTRY DATE : 16.12.2005
Regards

I'm going to stop talking now lest I appear more stupid than I am, but the title of this thread says Hicom 300e, which I assume is running some version of 9006 software, and if it's the end of 2005 I would assume 9006.6.

I have two model 80's and five model 30's, plus I have a Hicom 150 and a HiPath 4000. The only one that even comes close to having a dongle is the HiPath 4000, and that has a SIM card.

The HiPath 4000 uses WABE (for DPLN) and NAVAR (for NOPT) - I haven't messed with the night options on the 4000 yet, but I know they got rid of all the "closer to english" AMOs from 9006 and made them "closer to german". I have a translation list from the old way to the new way, but it's still hard to wrap my brain around some of it.

I don't know if some of the higher numbered 3xxx series are using the new AMOs as well because I never actually touched a 3500 or a 3800, but I was under the impression from conversations on here that they were more like the Hicom 150H (which is the precursor to the 3000) and require Assistant E for most programming.

I'm sorry I can't be more helpful, but I can't pin down exactly what you are using.

So, in LDPLN you can made routing with special code (in this case 9) to connect to one of the trunk.
In this case is it "ldat" 111.

I thing about wabe = code to turned off night mode from extension, but i do not have any possibility to create in wabe any code for this.

Regards

If you absolutely, positively, cockatively know that you are not using an attendant group for ANYTHING, then try this:

(before doing this you might want to do DIS-VFGR and specify group 0 - then print or write down everything that shows up just in case you have to reverse this)

DEL-VFGR
When asked, tell it to delete group 0.

If that is successful, then try:

DEL-NAVAR
You will have to specify either the option (2) or extension (5252).

If it works as intended you will completely delete Attendant Group 0, which you say is not in use and is what has night option #2 assigned to it. Then if that works you should be able to delete the night option itself. That should free up that extension number for use.

Please note that I used the AMOs from my HiPath 4000 manual for this, since you seem to be speaking that AMO language.

Remember USA folks (donb): the international Hicom 300 and the USA Hicom 300 used different sets of AMOs. The HiPath 4000 was created to join the two different platforms. Today, the 4000 uses a combination of the two sets of AMOs.

WCHPicus: the USA version of the Hicom 300 and the HiPath 4000 MUST have at least one attendant console group configured - even if there is no Attendant Console - or the switch will convulsively restart. So check again your Attendant Console AMOs.

I did not say that you had an Attendant Console. I said that on the US Hicom and the HiPath 4000, you MUST have an Attendant Console GROUP, and I suggested that you re-check the AMOs.

Obviously you DO have a VFGR group "0" because you cannot delete it. You do not want to delete it, because your system no doubt needs one Attendant Group configured.

Have you tried to DIS-VFGR? This should prove to you that you have an Attendant Console GROUP "0", and should show you the assigned Night Option number. The system has already advised you that the night option that you tried to delete is assigned to Attendant Group "0": NIGHT OPTION 2 CANNOT BE DELETED, AS IT IS STILL ASSIGNED TO ATND GROUP 0 (from your first post).

You can ADD a new night option in NAVAR, and then assign that new night option to the Attendant Console GROUP "0". That will FREE the station number (5252) that you are trying to use.

Anything beyond that, you need either training or experience or a trained technician to handle.

Not sure if you are still looking for the fix on this but here goes!
First thing to do is
EXE-UPDAT:BP,ALL;
EXE-UPDAT:A1,ALL;

DIS-NAVAR;
you will see an asterisk (*) next to the active night service extension.
To change it to the 'none' or 1
ADD-ACTDA:ATNDGR,0,1;
Then the * should be next to the first option.
After that you have to
CHANGE-VFGR:ATNDGR=0,TYPE=GENERAL,NOPT1=1,NOPT2=0,OPT=1;
Then you can
DEL-NAVAR:2;
You can then delete the extension.
Even if you are not using an Operator Console you need the VFGR to generate dial tone!

HEllo sbcsu!
Now, after Your post, all it's ok.
Night option deleted
DIS-NAVAR;
