Hello, I have an IPOV2 Chassis on R6 software, I am trying to set up my Drayteck Vigor Router correctly so that my sip lines will work on the IPO, in Manager/System/Lan2/Network topology, the Firewall/NAT Type is being detected as Full Cone Nat, i understand what that means but need to get the NAT type to be detected as, Port Restricted cone Nat by the IPO, the sip lines are registering with the service provider but i can`t make calls, does anybody know how the drayteck router should be set up?

its not hard on a draytek

Open Ports

port to open 5060 UDP point it to your IPO?

your stun server will more than likely report it as full cone NAT as there is still Network address translation going on regardless of what ports you open....

I would get a good engineer onto this if you are getting a bit out of your depth here.

Hmm thanks ive alredy done that, but no luck !its not that im out of my depth i have set up lots of Avaya IPO 500 systems like this but never with a drayteck router.

Hi
i have used draytek routers in past and all i did was open ports 5060 n Rtp ports and point to Ip Office(under Nat, open ports). that was Rel 5 IP500 and then Ip500V1 with Rel 6 software.

Hi

I work on Draytek routers all the time one thing to watch out for do not use the V models if you are running SIP e.g 2820VN

when i set the systems up go into NAT/open ports

open the following ports

5060 to 5080 UDP/TCP
49152 to 53246 UDP
3478 to 3478 UDP/TCP
all to the IP address of the IP Office

I have SIp trunks working on IP500v1 rel 4.2 5 6 and IP500v2 rel 6

You will also need to allow the ports to pass through the firewall if it is turned on

if you need more help email me
