3 Questions:

1 - Why not use MiTai message waiting?

2 - Why not put MWI port in VM group as required?

3 - Why not RTFM and follow config instruction.

Go off hook and then try the message key and as kwbMitel says the Mitai MWI is best. The only reason to use DTMF is usually when you have a redundant pair of 3300's with resilient hunt groups.

Loopylou, could you elaborate on the limitations of MiTai. I've heard rumours of issues with multiple controllers but I have yet to encounter any. I can set lamps on remote, clustered controllers using Mitai with no issues.

kwbMitel: its not clustered enviroments as you certainly can have a centralized voicemail. The issue I was thinking about is on failover of the Nupoint to the secondary controler of a resilient pair. Although the voicemail hunt group can be resilient there was something that I heard or read that you should use program DTMF for MWI. I did a quick search of my docs but can't find anything.
