When calling in on DID get the users VM, when dialing internally- gets users VM; however when trying to transfer a call, internal/external, the users gets the display "Out of Service" and a busy signal.

The number is in the hunt group *126
The number has the same rerouting plan as everyone else

What is next?

What voicemail? What system? What software load on both? You are trying to transfer a call to a user and get out of service or trying to transfer a call to the voicemail box and get OOS?

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

Trying to transfer the call to VM and get Out of Service on the display of the person trying to make the transfer.

I am very new to the Mitel Solution

Figured it out.
Added *126 to hunt groups
Added *126 to call routing

Now it works great.

Great

Be sure to backup your database just in case your PBX loses config. I recently had to restore because of that same problem, and it could not be fixed..

Just food for thought..
