Mitel 3300/Nupoint MAS 4.0

Hi,

how do I enable the Record a Call feature on the Nupoint.
I went into the root of the MAS and performed a getids -L and saw that 140 Record a call is installed but disabled.

To Start with, did you create the different set type that is required when setting up the integration sets?

If yes, tell us what you've tried to eliminate us doing the reading for you.

you need to add the free license to the ARID
54001627 NuPoint Messenger: Record-A-Call

Then getids should show it as Installed but disabled ( sounds like you have this done)

Then loginto the console as admin and select Install Mitel app suite
Select 3300
Select Record a call option
( you will need the Nupoint DVD)

After that getids should show it as enabled
Then change all you rnupoint ports from 5020 Ip to 5240 IP

Restart the nupoint

ALLOW FCOS 291 in Nupoint for users

give them a record a call button

Hmm, I think the process might be different depending on whether your Nupoint is on MAS, Standalone, or Virtual but the above might work. I'm not sure about the choosing 3300 part but hey, it's been awhile.

Ok thank you Billz66. Now it is enabled. I am now able to have the recording start but when I press stop and save I don't have a message in my voicemail. What can be the cause?
 
recording only works on trunk calls , not extension to extension
Recorded calls dont activate the message wait lamp , have you accessed the mailbox to check ?
Does the user have fcos291 set

I am calling in using the trunk, not using extension to extension.
I am calling in to the voicemail and it says you have no new messages then gives me the options to change my VM programming.
Yes the user does have the FCOS 291 set.

My Nupoint is a MAS 4.0.31.0 version 15.0.0.37.01 and my mitel 3300 ICP is build 11.0.1.19.

I added extended hunt group but did not change anything.
