Hi all,

Im having a problem for the past few days that I cannot resolve. I have 2X IPO 412 (both running 4.2.11 ) and every few minutes the connectivity between the 2 units is lost - i run a ping from site A to site B and the ping times out one way only for a few seconds then comes back again.

The error from Status monitor when the timeout occur is:

Trunk Alarms:

Alarms for Line: 100 H.323 192.168.1.10
No response to IP trunk call request / IP Trunk Line Number: 100 / Remote end IP address: 192.168.1.10

I have checked the network setup between the 2 Sites and cannot see any problems. No changes were made when the issue started to occur either.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Don't forget that the ports on the 412 are HD... possibly a mismatch!"

Not sure what this mean?

Where can i change/look at the Duplex settings on ports? Note that no cabling was change as issue occurred.

Basically the switch ports that the 412's are plugged into need to be set too 100 MB Half Duplex, they are probably at Auto-negotiate or 100 MB Full Duplex at the minute :)

Duplicate extension and or groups can even reboot an ipoffice so putting down the trunk can be possible too !

Hell in 4.0 one of the Caveats/CQ's was "Call to the system causes system to reboot" I remember giggling at that one :)

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.
