Just wondering how you would go about backing up VM in IP office?

Do you have any backup solutions on your network?

Yes, We use veritas backup exec to backup our servers.

VM Pr or VM Lite?
for VM pro backup the VMdata.mdb file in the Voicemail Pro directory (C:\progem files\avaya\ip office\voicemail pro) & also any custom recordings in the Was directory (C:\progem files\avaya\ip office\voicemail pro\vm\wavs)

teh Mailboxes, User greetings & names are stored in the Accounts, Greetings & Names subdiretories & may be worth backing up as well although VM Pro will recreate the accounts if deleted & it is not to dificult for useres to rerecord thier greetings if needed

It is alos worth noting that Some VM Pro settings are stored in the registry, Avaya have a utility to backup & restore these settings on the VM Pro CD.
