IPO to CM using modular messaging

we have a set up with r7.0.5 IPO connected with H323 trunks to CM and using the CM for VM with modular messaging. we are running into an issue with some call types not covering to VM properly. outside DID calls work. IPO user to IPO user work. calls that come in from a CM user ring the IPO ext and then never cover to VM properly. has anyone seen this? any help would be great.

What happens when they fail to cover?

I suspect that you will need to tweak the settings on page 4 of the Message server trunk group - the reroute options.

I am not 100% sure but ran into an issue sort of like thia a while back and ot had to do with public Numbering plan and they way it present called id and name... May not be your issue but maybe it is..

You could well be right - although I personally try to use private numbering to VM and links...

Do you have an entry in your public-unknown-numbering for the IPO extensions - otherwise you might not be getting the correct information to the VM

What happens whena call covers to VM - "Welcome to Audix" or similar or something else?

can you geta a list tra tac of the call covering to VM?

How do you forward the calls to IPO ext: through twinning or a call forwarding?

We arent really forwarding them.

I will try and get a trace when the calls cover they drop or just get dead air.
