Greetings.
I have this issue were the BLF keeps showing as the default BLF Group 1 each time I relaunch the application.
I then have to recreate it for every session.
How do I get it to stay as created?

I'm just going to copy and paste this from the help file:

You can use templates to create a user's profile. There are three templates supplied with SoftConsole. For more information, see Default Templates in the Appendix. Templates can only be created and edited if you are logged in to SoftConsole in administrative mode.

To create a new template:

1. Log in to SoftConsole as an administrator. Make sure that you have loaded a template to base your new template on.

· When you log in, click Expand. Select a profile called AdminTemplate1, AdminTemplate2 or AdminTemplate3.

2. Change the layout as required. The areas that can be changed are:

· The display size of the panels.

· The number of park slots.

· The panels that are visible.

3. Click File > Save Template to save the new template

4. Enter a name for the template and click OK.

I have followed the copy and pasted and the BLF behaves the same. Have saved the template to my pc desktop. If I open the saved template with softconsole again the BLF that comes up is the default.

That's because you saved it to your desktop. The profile file should remain in the directory where the other three are.

If you have multiple users on the same computer using the same profile, you'd have to copy the file there as well.

Some files are hidden and windows treat them as "hidden system" files which will not be copied if you don't have full local admin rights.

This is a simple case of not saving the profile/not saving it in the right place. Leave the profile in it's default folder or save it again with a different name and leave that one alone (A prompt pops up and tells you that it has saved correctly when you do this)/ Then it will work I'd wager :)

Or they are using roaming profiles :)

Solved. It was indeed a case of saving to the wrong place. Was saving to the desk top, had to save to c/avaya/ipo/softconsole/profiles.
Thank you all.
