Is there a way for me to configure members of a Group so that when they make a call they display the extension of the group rather than the extension of the user?

Not unless you had them dial a code that took them to a vmpro menu, where they dial an extension, and the transfer had the group name in the source. But that is silly.

dio you mean for internal calls or external calls
external calls you need simply ad a user short-code for each user , internal is not so easy
it can be achieved with personal short codes but only if the users dial a different number & have the SC translate

ie dial 4xx & have the sc translate it to 2xx

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Hi Guys,

sorry for coming back with this but, I just want clarifications.

I have an IP Office 9.0.2.0 build 860 and one of my user when placing an internal call doesn't show its extension.
It only show the call as follow

Incoming: {Full Name}
{Full Name}

So I tried to apply a User Right to change the display for that user but it didn't change anything.

I was under the impression that the first setting to be applied was System Setting and then, if present, User Setting would have priority over those and finally User Rights would have priority over everything else.

Is there something which has priority over User Rights or am I missing something?
