IPO 500 V2 PRI 2

Hey guys, having trouble with two PRI ports on the 500 V2. We have 3 telco E1 lines terminating to the gateway. The gateway has dual PRI cards with 4 ports as seen on the attached image. The problem is port 11 and 12 are not coming up at all. All telco lines work on the other two ports, 9 and 10.

The error seen on SSA is "trunk out of service" even when the cable is plugged into the ports. Any help is appreciated.

Dual PRI is two port not four.

Indeed. The IP Office PRI cards are either single or dual PRI trunk. The part number in this case is dual PRI.

Ports 11 and 12 are still used by the PRI card in this case but only for loop back testing mode.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

pretty sure a 2 port PRI only uses 9/10, rendering 11/12 unused.

•Physical trunk connection is via ports 9 and 10 of the host IP500 base card.

•Port 11 and 12 can be used as test points for connection of test and monitoring equipment for the adjacent port.

Thanks you're correct guys, the 3rd and 4th E1 lines terminate on the Phone extension base card as that's where the daughter card was slot as well.
