We have a customer that installed IP500 R5 with ATM4 for 4 analog trunks and several IP phonesets (IP1608 and wifi phone). The voice level on internal call without problem, but low voice level on conversation with external party.
We have tried to change ATM4 module and adjust "gains" of each analog trunk line but still no improvement.
Any other idea or parameter could be adjust?

I was facing same problem when i was using locale UK. I change the locale UK to US.Now problem has resolves.

It seems not due to locale setting as we are using default locale (as US) but the problem is still exist.

IP sets and analog lines is asking for trouble every time I had it, it causes headaches. I got all sales people away from selling that under the threat of physical consequences.
That doesn't help you much but I am at a loss as well.

How about the level of the trunk before connecting to IPO ATM4?

Use system monitor unless of course you are a Tard then it IS the fault of the pbx.

I'm not sure if it's still called this, but try setting Voice Recording level to High. I know it's for Voice Recording, but it's worth a shot.
