Hi All!

I have an Avaya IP500 V2 9.0 with all the appropriate licenses needed to run a soft phone.

Im trying to configure the soft phone program on my computer.
just note that my firewall is completely turned off on my windows 7 computer.

I created a teleworker user with soft phone enabled (extension 4206)
When putting in the login server (192.168.1.102 which is the IP address of the control unit) and the username and password, I get an error saying the login server is not reachable. I do have other hard IP phone connected to the system, connected using the same IP address. I can successfully ping that ip address. What could be the issue Im having?
I tried on 3 different computers getting the same error.

what's the IP of the computer?

Are the data and voice networks on different vlans/subnets?

Everything is on the same network.subnet. I can even ping the IP office

You need to turn on "Enable Softphone HTTP Provisioning" in the IP Office System tab :)

Thats checked already. Any other suggestions?

If you are in fact on the same subnet and using the correct Softphone and all is configured correctly then something is blocking it reaching the system, simple as that. Or there are other factors involved we don't know about :)

ip office video softphone and one-x mobile

Still not working. Its telling me the softphone couldnt connect to the system. All necessary config on the avaya is done and all the cmputers/tablets/smartphones I tried it on still wouldnt connect even on the same network / subnet.

It's something you're doing wrong or something wrong with the PC's or network, only you can figure it out unfortunately, I can tell you the software works no issues for me on many systems so I doubt that's at fault :)

Ok, Ill try to figure somethinbg out. Thanks so far! :)
