IP Office email recording, start and stop

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to start and stop email recordings. To meet compliance challenges when a client calls requesting particular info we conference into another extension that is set to record via email immediately. The process works great, but we cannot interrupt the recording at the end of the needed discussion time. Sometimes there times when we need to talk beyond the critical data time, that we are not allowed to record. We tried the recording via shortcode process. We found that we were not able to properly backup our files.

Any Ideas, I am fairly new to phone system design.

If you are runiing phone manager you should be able to stop the recording. In agent mode there is a start and stop record key.

I am not familiar with agent mode. How do I access this mode.I am IP Office Novice. I need as much help and patience as you have to offer.

Agent mode is only available on phone manager pro
If in phone manager lite mode when on a call press the functions button then start or stop recording
