Ip office 8.1 (43) system status no longer is able to open

I have a customer who had a java version of 1.7, he recently upgraded to version 1.8. Now he is no longer able to open up system status since upgrading his java, he tells me he had to do this upgrade for his we apts to work, he is able to open up manager ok but no system status, any work around here? Thanks for you time on this issue.

i'm facing same problem after upgrade java but after uninstall the latest java from control panel -> programs, problem solved.
win7 64bit, system status v9.0.4
