I have an IP Office 500v2 R7 with 2 Combo Cards and a DS8 that crashes a few times a day. All the phones go out and all the lights on every board goes solid red. A reboot gets it back up and I am seeing no alarms before or after the crash/reboot. I have seen that this may be an SD card issue, but I resolved a previous SD card error by removing and reseating the SD card. I am at a loss at what to do next.

What release software? If the sd is at fault (and you know what you are doing) you can reformat and then recreate the sd card via Manager and that has been known to fix the issue. If it is an older R6/R6.1 then the sd card is probably bad and I would replace it and have your licenses transferred to the new sd card.

It is an R7. Could I do a format on the card with Manager to fix this?

Depends on if the card is causing the issue... You should watch monitor trace to see what happens when the box goes down.

One thing I was just dealing with was a reboot caused by a computer being plugged into one of the digital ports. Check your Combo cards and see if green lights are on ports 1-6. If there are any that do not have lights, unplug the patch going into it. Do the same for ports 1-8 on your digital 8. Only ports with green lights have an Avaya phone plugged in on the other end and by unplugging all non-lite ports you will be eliminating the possibility of something incorrect being plugged in on the far end.

Also you can do a format-recreate with any release, but make sure you know what you are doing or you can disable the whole card and make it useless.
