Hi all,

Today our PBX (IPO500 / R7 (up-graded from R5) / VCM32) started to show the message: "no license" on terminals display. At Manager application I saw:

- we have 72 licenses Avaya ip-endpoints;
- 20 VCM Channel migration;

At the System status:
- 72 licenses Avaya ip-endpoints / 72 in use
- 20 channel migration VCM / 20 in use

Why my terminals are showing that message about license is I have 72 (ip Endpoint) + 20 (instances from channel migration)?

Thread Example:
thread940-1668193

Thanks in advance.

How many IP extensions do you have?

IPDect uses these licenses too!

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

We have for about 75 IPphones (1603sw-i) and no one Dects. But we installed recently 3 stations and then this message started to be shown for users. It look like the IPO500 is not consider the VCM Channel Migration licenses. Isn´t it?

Thanks for you help TLPeter.

When you go to extensions, is reserve ip endpoint license" checked?

Man i´ve checked each station and no one has the Reserve marked.

Any other idea?

Thanks...

I have no idea.
I will try it tommorow because I need to replace a 412 with an ip500v2 on Monday and I need to use the current vcm30.

Appearantly I was right in another post, the "old" vcm modules on a carrier card do NOT generate virtual IP Enpoint licenses. They do not show up in SSA as the VCM32 generated licenses do show up......

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

It is documented that it should do so then they should appear.

OK, i just tried and i have the same issue.
I am going to raise a bug for this.

OK, i was too quick.
I forgot that i had about 60 IPdect phone configured and those extensions always use a license regardless if you check the option for reserve license.

Hi people, the last days was holliday in Brazil and we kept out of office (just part of the team has worked). We continue with that issue. According to the document below from IPO Knowledge Base it (VCM Channel Migration) should work simply like a IP Endpoint License.

Has anyone some hint about it?

They should generate licences, I have done this and seen it myself several times, if it isn't for you it's a bug, perhaps in that 1% hey Intrigrant :)

Ok amriddle01, thanks for your help! I´ll contact the Avaya BP to help me with this issue.

Thanks for everyone.
