Hi,
I did a small program that can change the forward settings via TAPI 2, it worked well with the 400 system, but not with the 500 system, when I set the dev specifics, it sets successfully, but the value is not written on to the system, so when i get dev specifics, it returns with default settings. Is there a format change between 400 and 500 ? Thanks in advance.

You do have a tapi pro licence?

yes, I have it here.and the TAPI is configured as 3rd party mode

What version are you using in the IP500?
Maybe you're missing some shortcodes?

Could you be more specific?

4.2 for 500 system
I was using 4.1 for 400 system
I noticed there are some field changes GetLineDevStatus

IP Office 4.1 TAPI Changes

IP Office 4.1 introduces a number of changes to the IP Office TAPI interfaces.
• GetLineDevStatus
This option is now includes additional fields for reporting user rights settings.

this might be the reason?

Have a look here on page 22

Note: IP Office 4.1+ includes a number of additional fields (see the table below). If you are using the TAPI interface you
may need to increase the size of message receive buffers for the lineDevStatus message to allow for the new fields. The
required increase in length is 16*(2+ number of User rights group defined on the IP Office).

Yes, i read this one, but it seems like the original offset is not changed, and i will need to increase the size only if i need to have extra fields.

Did you install the new tapi driver from the user disc?
