When trying to run a form I get the following error:

Index tag is not found
Error: 1683
Index Tag is not found
Method: embossedform.dataenvironment.OpenTables
Line: 0

The table has no real index as I am using only one record to set up the end points for printouts.

I have replaced the table fields a couple of times on the form but always get the same error.

Any help woupld be appreciated.

Thanks..............Wayne

HI,

Edit your form EMBOSSEDFORM and get into the Data envionment. Select the table and see if you have set an ORDER for that table. If there is an order set for this table and if that exists, you can set that and recompile.

If the order is not existent but specified, you can remove that.

Also, when the Form Builder wizard is run, if it has asked for a sequencing of the records ... and if you have used some sequence as the order.. I sugest, you open up this table in the DATA tab and create an index for this table.

Either way this error should go. If you have only used the form wizard to build this, then you create again and while doing so dont select any order or sequencing for this buil. That could solve your problem.
