Our incoming calls which gace Called-ID setup, only shows the first 4 disits.

I have an IPO 406V2 with 16 Port analog trunk module.

I am running Ver 5.2(55) code.

Calls in the same area code as the trunk lines seem to show up poroperly.

Very bizzare.

I would go straight to the Line provider

You could put a CLI enabled alog phone on the trunks and test.

What do you see in Monitor?

Fooball is not a matter of life and death-It is far more important!!!!

Check and make sure lines are set to CLID in lines, analog options, as well as check your system is set for the correc t LOCALE (country)

All settings are correct.

I also put an analog phone on one of the trunks, and confirmed that we are indeed getting all the digits.

It seems the IPO is stripping off the number.

Also, any 7 digit number that comes in has all the digits.

Also, any number in the same area code, 709 in our example, has all the digits.

Yes, its very bizzare.

use monitor to see what happens with the digits

The calling number was supposed to be 1 902 406 3088

Below you can clearly the calling-91902, and the rest is missing.

Any ideas?

319010mS CMTARGET: LOOKUP CALL ROUTE:253 type=100 called_party= sub= calling=91902 in=1 complete=1
319010mS CMTARGET: SET BESTMATCH:253 length 0 vs 0 match= dest=AA:Compusult
319011mS CMTARGET: LOOKUP INCOMING CALL ROUTE:253, calling party is 91902. Using destination AA:Compusult
319011mS CMTARGET: ADD TARGET:253 number=AA:Compusult type=100 depth=1 nobar=1 setorig=1
319011mS CMTARGET: SET AUTO ATTENDANT:253
319012mS CMTARGET: LOOKUP CALL ROUTE:253 returned 1

Looks like you have enabled a line prefix, did you try to take it out?

I removed the prefix, and it still only gives 1902 now for the same call. Where previously it gave 91902.

Using the manager helpfile I came across:

Long CLI Line: Default = Off
The CLI signal on some long analog lines can become degraded and is not then correctly detected. If you are sure that CLI is being provided but not detected, selecting this option may resolve the problem.

This is under lines\analogue options.

Worth a try.

I have this enabled on all analog trunk ports already.

I could try turning it off.

Is anyone else who is reading this thread experiencing the same issue?

I see the call is going to VM, try creating a new ICR entry, make sure the incoming#, and CLID fields are blank, or clear, and route it to a user. See if CLID comes thru, wait a few rings before picking up.

Bug number CQ38620

Problem incoming 11 digit caller ID lost on ATM16 - truncated to 4 digits

Found in 3.2.54

Fixed in MT_RELEASE_3Q07_3.2

Where can I get the maintenence release MT_RELEASE_3Q07_3.2?

Is it on the Avaya site somewhere?

I am currently running 3.2(55)...

MT_RELEASE_3Q07_3.2

3Q means third quarter
07 means 2007

Wich means you can wait some time before a fix is presented. Till then use ducatisenna's solution.

Isn't the dial delay count for outbound calling?

The issue I am having is with inbound CLID...

The dial delay is how many digits the switch wauts for before looking for a match for outbound calling.

Is this related to ICLID?

make sure you have no errors in the switch i had a problem one time were the caller id would work one time but not the next and it was an issue with programming. The previous installer had put -'s in the incoming caller id field on the ICR and that was screwing up the caller ID. So as a rule of thumb i try to clear all errors in the switch before merging or saving.

ACA & ACS IPO Implementation

sorry 4 to 11 is an another problem about dialing, no iclid,

i see exactly the same problem only 4 digits shown on the iclid , when i upgrade one 3.1.56
system to 3.2.53, i can't solve the problem, roll back to 3.1.56.

i think we should export settings , delete conf and upgrade the unit, end import settings to ipoffice, or rewrite the ipo config from zero.
