Hello everyone!
We have very similar issues with Avaya IP Office 11.1.2 as mentioned in this thread but can't reply there anymore.
The PSTN line is E1 QSIG-B connected directly to IPO, the telehones are J139/159. We can clearly see the Callers Name being delivered in the trace, but it is ignored by the IPO and not displayed on the J139/J159 SIP Phones. We have the network license and the correct settings.
Raised a case with Avaya and their Tier4
claims this should never work. It seems very strange to me as there were times when this was one of the features that everyone wanted and I believe it worked on many E1 trunks across the globe, but I was not part of the Avaya universe at that time.
Is there anyone who could confirm/deny the Avaya statement?
Does this (showing the callers NAME, not only number) works/worked for anyone in the following setup> PSTN E1 PRI QSIG -> IP Office -> Avaya SIP Phones ?
