I saw this one yesterday ... had to read it again as the font made it look like something else .......

"Mr Shifter -- Toilet Bowl Cleaner" :)

<Do I need A Signature or will an X do?>

For anyone still looking for this info, this site seems to be loaded with examples and info:

Also, I'd say that the cheapest/easiest option would be just to play the movie in the DVD Rom/burner in your computer, if you have one. Or if you don't have one, you can get a DVD burner for $25 to $35 on NewEgg practically at any time, it seems.

And actually, right now, if you look at that link, I saw at least 2 that are going at $23 and free shipping - so what about 46 pounds if that's your currency? I guess you might have to pay additional shipping. Or, actually, I'm not even sure they'll ship to the UK, from glancing at the shipping info. All I could see is that the only "international" shipments would go to PR.

kjv -

Actually, right now, 23 U.S. dollars = 11.6970961 British pounds (from Google caclulator - just Google "23 dollars in GBP".

Similarly,

2.97900 (U.S. dollars per US gallon) = 0.400228114 British pounds per liter (what I paid to fill up my tank yesterday).

Oops, I knew it was that way - been that way (generally) for as long as I've looked at it. [blush]

so what I meant was it'd be about 12 pounds. [wink]

Oh well..

When the Zip drives from IOMega came out..... they were, at first, an external drive. They connected with either SCSI (for the Mac version) or parallel port for the PC version.

Then they came out with an internal one.

As I recall, they called it the "Zip Insider"

I always chuckled at that.....

Olaf...those are awesome...what a way to end the work week. Thanks for sharing those.

Olaf.... my network adminstrator cracked up. The majority of those websites you listed were blocked by our internet filtering software, and I ended up on "the list." He wanted to know why I was going to sites like this during the day. Really, I was shopping for a good pen, and I needed to see some art for a new marketing program, then I was checking the church schedule for upcoming services.....

There's a product on the market called Poo~Pourri and is designed to spray into the toilet before you do your business. Since there was a store near me, I decided to try it out. It really works!!!

So you are saying that no one should poo-poo it until they have tried it, right? <grin>

Has anyone heard of the new product AciPhex?
I almost died laughing so hard when I heard the commercial on TV

it sounded like A$$ Effects - if is for heartburn and acid reflux

Did their marketing team seriously think about this product name?

I saw a big panel truck the other day with Bimbo on it in giant letters. Apparently it is the name of a company that makes baked goods.

Geez...Why would you name yourself Cretin??? Even if you take into account that the guy builds only in Southern Louisiana and maybe speaks Creole, Cajun, or French, in all three languages, cretin means "wretch"; and in English, it still means, "a stupid, vulgar, or insensitive person; a clod; a lout."

Now that's the type of self-appreciation that I want in my company name.

Cretin (in French, more properly, Crétin) is the owner's name. Judging from the entries on LinkedIn, most of them are French. The Louisiana Cretin (note capitalization, please) does not appear to be listed.

Da mihi sis crustum Etruscum cum omnibus in eo.

Actually, there are three residential listings in Louisiana for the name Cretin, all Edgars. Frankly, I feel badly that I impugned a man's family name. My sincere public apologies to the Cretin Family.

...but still not a PR/Marketing person's dream.
