How do I determine whether my 500 chassis is V1 or V2? 3

Nothing on the chassis (stickers/labels) indicates one or the other.

I've searched in this forum, and there's only mention that the LED layout is different, but cannot find any description of which is which.

IP 500 8.1(63)
VMPro 8.1.9016
46/5610s, 46/5621+25s
 
Easiest way is to look at back of CU, if lan/wan ports are stacked then V1, if side by side V2
 
Also memory slots were large Compact flash on V1 and V2 has SD card slots (much smaller)
 
The front says ip500 or ip500v2.
It can't get easier.

And Monitor will say what chassis, right in the begining of a trace. "500 V1" or "500 V2" (if you need to do this remotely)

There are other ways too, but this is really the quickest way.
