hmail server

Hi all. The hmail server is new to me, so forgive a dumb question. Last week we installed it and it works perfectly at a customer site. They are using Comcast is the internet provider. I tried to set it up at my home office and it does not work. I ran the diagnostics I got the error of, "it is not possible to connect". When I took my laptop back to the customer site it works. Am I just missing a setting or something else.

Perhaps Comcast only allows connections to the mail server from their circuits? Is Comcast your provider?

yes it is. The only difference that I could see is the customers Comcast modem is old and mine is new.

Could be a business service not available to residential.....just guessing

Is there a way around this, if I ever had to do this for real at a home office situation?

You would typically be using embedded for that so it's not required anyway
