I have a NT 4.0 Workstation with SP6a that automatically opens the System32 Folder on startup. This procedure isn't in the startup folder. Any suggestions on how to stop the folder from opening on startup? Thanks.

This behavior also occurs if there is a String value that contains only a single quote character (") as the Value data in the following Registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

CAUSE
This behavior can occur if a null, incomplete, or damaged entry exists in the registry.

Something in the run folder in the registry is tryn to startup that u dont have the software installed. Check that folder and delete the entry.

Thanks, french01, that took care of my problem.
