Hai,

Due to Heavy rain and thunderstorm arround my country, a few off my AN and ARN router have been struked by lightning.
While the serial port can be repair but the Flash Card file since to be wipe out. When I used a working router and try to see what inside the flash card i was advice that the flash card have no Volume. I used the Site Manager to check and upon trying to format the Flash Card, Dr Watson come out. Is there a way that I can still format or reused the Flash Card. I bet there is a command that allow me to put the volume back.

Thanks

When you checked the suspect flash card in a working router
dir you boot the router with the suspect flash card or did you hot swap the flash card?

If you have a laptop with WIN95/98 and a spare PCMCIA slot, you can use BNFS95 to check/verify/format the flash card.

I have had a bad file(ARN.exe)cause flash card problems. The only way to resolve the problem is to format the flash card.

Good Luck. Rick Harris

Rick,

Thanks for the info, I tested the faulty Flash Card via rebooting it on a new working ARN router. Then when I try to format back the Flash Card via command Format or Site Manager(boot from a working Flash Card and then hot swap) it won't work. Keep advicing me about no Volume detect. Normaly there is a volume 1 on the flash card.

Thanks
