Hi,

I have 50 + 4621sw ip phones I want to change the button label. I can do it by going to each phone.

Can I do this system wide at once to all 50+ phones?

Thank you,
BT

you could use the user rights but then all the buttons are identical on all phones you apply it to, you can not change individual buttons any more.

Just dont use user rights to Assign CA keys. and sometimes DND can go a bit funny

Never argue with an idiot. bystanders won't be able to tell the difference.

Best bet it to create the user rights group with the buttons programmed as you want, then in the User section of Manager Right click in the User column and select "Copy user rights values to users" and select the users and rights group you created, then it will set the buttons and leave them changeable individually :)

It's a really good feature, it speeds up the programming and leaves it without all those nasty padlocks it also (mostly) avoids the problems you get with user rights not working properly.

Hey All,

Thank you for the great information. Now that I know what to do once I get to user rights group is great.

What is user rights and how do I get there. Is this in IP Office? I Do not have IP Office.

I need hand holding with this from the begining please.

Thank you,
BT

tsekreta, by posting in the IP Office forum does suggest that you have an IP office, try the definity forum :)

or tlpeter just assumed that you have a CM and you really have an IP Office.
Can you clarify what system you have and maybe the release too.
