Guys,

We are trying to setup Equinox voip client on a Android mobile.

We can make and receive calls just fine, however.

The client gives a red triangle on the top of the screen saying voip service is limited.

I do not want to invent the wheel again, so anyone of you had this before?

Tnx

Thanks,

But as I understand correctly, the issue is solved in client 3.5.6 which we are already using.

Also, on the windows client there is no issue.

Now what I did notice is that when I go to my prefference screen (top right corner) on the incomming calls the Equinox says 'not connected to telephony server'.

But then I am able to receive calls just fine ..

I can not find where I can make the settings for the incomming call..

Contrary to the update (which I missed initially as I have an older version of the document!) it doesn't fix the issue. I've just checked with an iPhone user.

So it's still broken. I thought it was isolated to iPhones but appears it's broken it Android too now. Although mine works ok. Android 8.1

My enterprise Directory is still broken too.

Nice work Avaya...

I've got the exact same issue. iPhone doesn't have the Voip service limited warning but Android does connected to the same IPO. I have tried with and without TLS, no difference. I'm not sure what exactly is limited since it seems to be working 100% fine other than the warning icon.

As noted above the Windows client doesn't show the red symbol either. However this is broken too.

Unless you run older versions like 3.5.0 you won't get Directory, and your Phone call control won't work either.

So doesn't matter which platform you're on you have broken Equinox software.

It's an absolute shambles!

PS - I should qualify that the Directory issue is unless you're on SP4... but if you're on that you have another set of problems altogether!

And it doesn't look like they are going to release 11 SP3 until July at this point. We are going to be dealing with this being broken for awhile.

It is a config error as it works just fine on all my customers.
I wrote a complete setup guide and posted it here, search for it and follow it by the letter.

Seems like we resolved the issue.

problem was that we used an Aura 46xxsettings file. According to this file PPM is used, which is not supported on IPO.

We changed this settings file as following:

change SET ENABLE_PPM "1" to "0"

SHOW_TEAM_BUTTON._CALLER

SHOW_TEAM_BUTTON_VISUAL_ALERT

That is why avaya says to use the autogenerated 46xxsettings file and use the 46xxspecials file for additional settings.
But some know better and get issues as expected.
