Just starting to learn IPO. With source numbers in the user tab, access to voicemail doesn't need access code. Removed source numbers and I am being asked for the code. My question is if i want to access my VM in other user/extension, how to setup if i want to ask for a user/ext number and VM access code?

Create a Short Code in The IP Office Manager as below:

Code=*99
Feature=Voicemail Collect
Telephone Number=?

Then dial *99 from any phone and enter:
extension#
passcode#

Best, John.

Set up the following 'Shortcode' which will allow access to ANY mailbox, you will be prompted for the 'Extension' number followed by the Password :

SC = *55 (or any spare code)
Feature = Voicemail Collect
Telephone Number = "?Anonymous

quasi

Embedded uses just ?, not ?anon etc, anon is for VM pro only and doesnt work on embedded.
