First, we are using the IP Office in a very basic capacity, digital sets and POTS lines, Essential Edition, embedded VM, Auto-Attendant, etc. With 20 systems in the field, I have found the 9.0.6.0.979 software to very very stable for me in these configs. I Have received a few of the last systems in 9.1.0 and been able to downgrade them successfully. The one I received last week has me stumped! On initial boot-up and connection to Manager, the software made me change the default passwords, and I did so and recorded them. When I try to downgrade, it's no joy. I am able to select the files, enter my (new)system password, and the process starts, but all files fail initial check and the system does not downgrade. Any thoughts? It is acting the same with 2 different cards and 2 different chassis. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
DT

If you have a system with no manager install 9.0.6 ONLY and use it to reformat and recreate the SD card. I have seen randomly using a manager on a different version then the bins your using to upgrade causing issues. If you use a system with manager never installed, then install only 9.0.6, and format and then create from that it should work. If it does not re-download 9.0.6 and start over (uninstall it and reinstall just 9.0.6).

Downloaded 10.0.0.2 build 10 and installed on the second pc, where 9.0.6.0.979 is installed. Tried the downgrade and it is working. Looks like it may be time to uninstall all admin suite packages from the primary pc and start over. Thanks for all the hints, guys. This forum is the best!
