Hello, I have a customer that has decided to disable auto attendant in order to ring a group and then COVER to ext. 10 voice mail box. I would really appreciate some help with confirming these steps as I am not totally fimiliar with partner... Touch Tone Tommy was a great help in my previous thread (
Disable AA:
#206-7-LL-2 (for lines 01 - 08)
Cover to EXT 10 Voice Mail:
#207-LL-10 (for lines 01 - 08)
Now for the difficult part - or part that I don't fully understand:
I need to set up a "phantom" extension and RCF it to a single toll free number. I understand this is necessary and may be the only way for the users in the ring group to transfer the call off premise (by transfering the call the the phantom RCF extension)
1.) I need to know how to create the new phantom extension.
2.) I need to know how to RCF that extension to an off premise number 91800-xxx-xxxx
3.) I would also like to know if I can assign a button on the phone the users can press which will automatically transfer the call to the phantom ext (similar to a transfer button, but include the phantom extension in the dialed string so all then need to do is press the button to send the call???)
Any help is appreciated !!!
Thanks,
Mike
